Furthermore, deflections will also determine the manner in which a goalkeeper reacts. The keeper's arms, hands and fingers will be pushed by the ball after deflections and subsequent scrambling saves.

In the same way, player's legs and feet can also be pushed away by the ball depending on its impact.

There's also been an update when it comes to nets and this year the goal nets will respond accordingly to players colliding into them.

The Hypermotion 2 technology - available on the newer consoles - includes a FIFA-first motion capture of a high-intensity 11v11 women’s match - and data from five training drills - to bring about "more high-fidelity, true-to-life animations".

In total, from both the male and female captures, there are more than 6000 HyperMotion-enabled animations that make players "move and play more responsively and realistically than ever before".
