FIFA 23 Fans In India Get The Game For $0.06 After 'Pricing Error'

FIFA 23 Fans In India Get The Game For $0.06 After 'Pricing Error'

The glitch was reportedly available for up to one hour.

FIFA 23 players living in India were reportedly able to get the Ultimate Edition of the game for just $0.06 after a pricing error.

EA Sports officially unveiled the latest and final edition of the franchise last week. It will be the last game the publisher releases under the FIFA banner with the partnership coming to an end.

Pre-orders went live too and according to Reddit, gamers who visited digital platform the Epic Games Store in India were given a nice surprise.

A screenshot of the storefront shows 'FIFA 23: Ultimate Edition' listed for ₹4,800 which exchanges to $0.06. What a bargain.

For UK fans, ₹4,800 is about £5 which is also an absolute steal in its own right. It is unknown why the error occurred but it was not resolved for up to an hour.

The Ultimate Edition of the game provides a number of perks too. They are as follows:

  • Limited Time FIFA World Cup FUT Hero Item (If pre-ordered before August 22)
  • Three days early access (Play the game from September 27 instead of September 30)
  • Upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free
  • Untradeable One To Watch player on September 30
  • FUT Team Of The Week 1 player item
  • Kylian Mbappe loan player for five Ultimate Team matches
  • FUT Ambassador loan pack (Choose Alphonso Davies, Son Heung-min or Vinicius Jr. for three games)
  • 4600 FIFA points
  • Career Mode homegrown talent

Could it be the best deal anyone will ever get for a video game? Perhaps.

FIFA 23 promises to be 'the most expansive title to date' with a number of welcomed additions.

'The most advanced gameplay' and 'deepest modes' were promised in the reveal trailer and it was confirmed for the first time ever, women's club sides would be featured.

The Barclays Women’s Super League in England and France's Division 1 Arkema are included and Chelsea Women forward Sam Kerr graces the cover alongside Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.

A big return is Juventus, who are back after three games away.

The Serie A giants confirmed a multi-year partnership with EA Sports on Monday after making their last appearance in FIFA 19.

Their players still had a presence in FIFA 20, 21 and 22, but the club was named Piemonte Calcio and used EA Sports designed logos and kits.
