FIFA 23 Will Support Cross-Play Between PlayStation, Xbox And PC According To Industry Insider

Huge news.

FIFA 23 is set to include cross-play between PlayStation, Xbox and PC when it launches later this year according to an industry insider.

A number of popular video game franchises allow for cross-platform play and it's a feature many have wanted in EA Sports' hit series for years.

Who hasn't talked trash and then been hit with 'oh I'm on PlayStation/Xbox so we can't play'? All that jaw jacking for nothing.

Xfire have the news we've all been waiting for. A recent report has stated everyone on PlayStation, Xbox and PC will be able to square off online.

A few other interesting tidbits have been included in the report.

FIFA will not be going free-to-play this year despite rumours suggesting they would.

EA Sports also won't be dropping 'FIFA' despite EA CEO Andrew Wilson reportedly telling staff it's 'impeding' the brand.

FIFA 23 will include the men's and Women's World Cup in an attempt to build an experience that brings men's and women's football together.

Hypermotion Technology, which made its debut in FIFA 22, has been refined to offer the best animations and graphics on the market.

Kylian Mbappe has been the cover star of FIFA 21 and FIFA 22 and it's likely he graces the cover of FIFA 23.

Despite that, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar recently admitted he's had to take a break from playing Ultimate Team and the FUT Champs mode.

"I stopped playing FUT Champions because it started affecting my mind," he said in an interview.

FIFA 23 is expected to launch in September or October of this year.
