Ederson clattered into Callum Wilson during Bournemouth v Manchester City and football fans are wondering why the decision didn't go to VAR.

The City keeper came charging out of his area and clattered into Wilson near the touchline, sending the England international off the pitch.

Many of the Bournemouth faithful exploded in protest wanting a red card for the 26 year-old.

The Brazilian saw himself booked for the challenge.

But the rash, high nature of the challenge left many believing it should've been a red and VAR should have changed it.

Incidents also occurred earlier in the game with Kyle Walker and Nathan Ake.

The England full-back put in two meaty challenges on the Dutchman in the first ten minutes which many believing both were yellow card offences.

City currently lead 2-1 thanks to Sergio Aguero and Raheem Sterling.

Substitute Harry Wilson bent a sublime free-kick into the net with his left foot during injury time to give Eddie Howe's side hope for the second half.

As the half ended, the Vitality Stadium faithful were heard chanting negatively about VAR.
