Chelsea legend Petr Cech was performing better than Blues goalkeepers Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero in training before the arrival of Edouard Mendy earlier this season.
That's according to former Chelsea shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer, who says that Cech is feeling fitter and better than ever between the sticks.
Arrizabalaga's performances have been an unfortunate feature of Frank Lampard's time as Chelsea's manager.

The Spaniard has been dropped on numerous occasions in favour of Caballero.
But Lampard decided enough was enough before signing Edouard Mendy, who already has three clean sheets since arriving.
Cech reportedly played a massive part in arranging Mendy's transfer from Rennes to Stamford Bridge, having made the exact same move back in 2004.

Cech tried his best to get the best out of Arrizabalaga and Caballero in Chelsea training sessions, so much so the when he joined in, he was performing better than the pair of them.
"From my understanding, he was better than the Chelsea keepers," Schwarzer explained to Optus Sport.
"But this was before Mendy arrived at the club. He was performing and training better than the Chelsea keepers."

Schwarzer also disclosed that he recently had a conversation with Cech in which the 38-year-old admitted he'd felt better than he had in years.
"He just was saying he felt so good," the Australian continued.
"He said had he known that after having time off he would have felt so good, he would have only had six months off and wouldn't have retired.
"He actually believes he's fit enough and strong enough and good enough still to play in the Premier League.
"I know he's kicking the ball further than he did towards the end of his career.

"The injuries he had, the problems he had with his ankle, his calf, they were hindering his kicking game.
"So apparently he has no problems with that at all any more. He's kicking the ball as far as he [ever] did."
Mendy has steadied the ship for Chelsea since his arrival, keeping clean sheets in games against Crystal Palace, Sevilla and Manchester United.
Against United, the Senegalese international produced an outstanding save to keep out a late Marcus Rashford effort.
