A thread of the world's greatest footballers if they lost all their hair and went bald has gone viral.

Footballing legends such as Zinedine Zidane and Pep Guardiola have become more iconic without hair than having it in their playing days.

But which of the modern crop would look best if it all fell out tomorrow? SPORTbible decided to test it out and some of the results are hilarious.

Stars such as Lionel Messi & Son Heung-min will be hoping they keep a strong hairline, while James Maddison and Raheem Sterling rock it quite well.

Many believe Declan Rice looks like Harry Potter villain Voldemort, with West Ham United teammate Arthur Masuaku getting involved.

The Frechman tweeted: "Voldemort is that you?" which naturally prompted a response from the England international.

Rice fired back with: "Our friendship is over," accompanied with laughing emojis.

Former pros weren't safe either. Sky Sports' Gary Neville was given a chrome dome, with Jamie Carragher being left out... initially.

Neville wasn't too impressed but did expect much worse.

Angelino got in on the fun too - although there wasn't much to take off the top.

The Manchester City man is on loan at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga but couldn't escape the dreaded app.

He took it in good spirits though.

Last but not least were Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland, with the latter looking like a James Bond villain.

If there's an increase in hair transplants across football in a few years time, you'll know the likely cause.
