Thomas Tuchel Caught On Video Doing Hilarious Impression Of Pep Guardiola

Who says German people don't have a sense of humour?

Thomas Tuchel was caught on video doing a hilariously spot-on impression of Pep Guardiola ahead of the Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester City in Porto.

The Blues boss was entertaining his coaching staff on their hotel balcony by doing a sublime impersonation of Guardiola's touchline theatrics: frantically waving his hands around, rapidly tapping his head and gesturing to his players.

On spotting that he was being filmed, Tuchel doubled up with laughter and gave a wave to the camera. What else could he do?

Guardiola is famous for his manic sideline performances. Even with Man City 5-0 up, he's often seen wide-eyed on the side of the pitch, waving his arms around like he's an air traffic controller trying to land six planes at once.

Tuchel's impression had his coaches laughing and even joining in. Though how well it might go down with Guardiola - with whom Tuchel shares a good relationship - is another matter.

So far in his short reign at Chelsea, Tuchel has defeated Pep's City twice in two matches. First in April's FA Cup semi-final, then in the Premier League, coming back from a goal down to win 2-1 when victory the other way would have clinched the title for City in early May.

But Saturday night's game in Portugal is the big one for both managers and teams - and Tuchel clearly found time to cut any tension among his squad with a perfect Pep impression.

Fans seem divided over whether this is a stunning mind games win or whether the German is antagonising the Catalan beast (or alternatively it's just a bit of fun, so let's not get upset).

If we see Pep Guardiola slap on a (receding) blond wig and do a 90-minute Tuchel impression on the City team bus before kick-off, then we definitely know it's had an impact.
