James Maddison finished off a brilliant Leicester City attack to put the Foxes 3-0 up against Brighton & Hove Albion this evening.

The 24-year-old has looked back to his best recently after struggling with injury at the start of the campaign and he opened the scoring in the 27th minute.

Jamie Vardy notched a second in the 41st munute, but Maddison got his second of the game just before half-time after a slick passing move from Brendan Rodgers' side.

Wilfred Ndidi laid the ball off to Ayoze Perez who set Vardy racing into the box. Vardy then cut the ball back to Maddison on the edge of the box.

Maddison shimmied away from an onrushing Dan Burn before bending a left footed effort past a helpless Mat Ryan.

Fans have reacted to the goal and they're glad to see Maddison finding his form once again.

Maddison made his Three Lions debut last season but has yet to add to his one international cap.

In an interview with Sportsmail last month, he said he sees a place for himself in Gareth Southgate's squad ahead of Euro 2020.

"I watch England now and I know there's a gap for me," he begun. "I know I can go and make an impact on the international stage; it's just about being patient.

"I've had a taste and I want more. Look at Jack Grealish - before the Belgium game he had never made a competitive start, and then he was the best player on the pitch.

"It's about taking that chance and I know I'm capable. Hopefully it will come around soon.

"I like to be the main player and I want people talking about James Maddison again. In the last few weeks I've felt as sharp as I have for a year and hopefully that can continue in the Premier League and in Europe."
