Transfer fees are always being talked about, with hundreds of millions being spent every six months on players with varing degrees of success.
However, this is usually with players involved. It isn't often that a transfer fee is needed to get a manager, with coaches constantly becoming available thanks to sackings and the end of their contracts.
This isn't always the case though, with a club sometimes desperate enough to get their man that they're willing to splash out as much as they migt normally on a player.

Bayern Munich's reported €25 million fee for Julian Nagelsmann is just the latest example, but here are the other big money deals involving the men in the technical area.
Sadly it doesn't include Everton's bizarre £12 million bid for Marco Silva from Watford as they ended up getting him for free when he was sacked, but there are some big names in there:
5. Jose Mourinho, Inter Milan to Real Madrid, €8 million

Straight off the back of a heroic Champions League victory that included beating Los Blancos' arch rivals Barcelona, it's no wonder the La Liga giants were willing to go big on the 'special one'. It was alsoa successful move, until that last season where Mourinho did what he always does - falling out with everyone.
4. Rúben Amorim, Braga to Sporting, €10 million
The Portuguese side were willing to splash out in their quest to win the Primeira Liga for the first time since 2002, and it may have paid off. The club are currently six points clear at the top with seven games left to play, and what's more, unbeaten.

3. Brendan Rodgers, Celtic to Leicester City, €10.5 million
Leiceser are looking more and more like a regular Champions League side recently, with the appointment of Rodgers bringing the team back to its best after stagnation under Claude Puel. If he delivers Champions League football, this fee will be well worth it.
2. Andre Villas-Boas, Porto to Chelsea, €15 million

It seems quite a long time ago that everyone thought AVB was Mourinho mk.2, but that really was something we were all told. Sadly for the Portuguese it didn't work out that way, and he became yet another manager who failed to last a full season at Chelsea.
1. Julian Nagelsmann, Red Bull Leipzig to Bayern Munich, €25 million
The reported fee for Nagelsmann is, frankly, huge when compared to other coaches. The prodiguous 33-year-old is putting saw his playing career cut chort by injury, but is definitely making up for it with his coaching - and still has a long time to see if he can break this record again.
