Thiago Silva's Wife Slams Timo Werner For Real Madrid Disasterclass In Savage Instagram Rant

Chelsea striker Timo Werner has been criticised by teammate Thiago Silva's wife following a poor performance in front of goal vs Real Madrid.

The German forward had a number of chances to score in the 1-1 draw, with one coming in the first half from about four yards out.

Watching at home was Isabelle Silva, who decided to post her reactions on Instagram throughout the game.

She took aim at Werner and stated per The Mirror: "This is karma, guys. Every team I go to there is a striker who keeps missing goals... this Werner, what is his name?"

A second video was then posted in which she explained: "We need a goal, we need to win this match but my attackers don't want to score, I don't know why they don't score."

Werner was eventually substituted on the hour mark for Kai Havertz and manager Thomas Tuchel admitted he was frustrated with the performance.

Per Sky Sports he said: "He missed a big one at West Ham and now he's missed a big one here, that does not help.

"But it doesn't help crying about it or regretting it all the time.

"There are millions of people who have harder things to deal with than chances that you miss. So the good thing about sport is that no one cares tomorrow, today we were sad and angry in the moment - this is normal.

"He is sad, he is angry and disappointed. Tomorrow he has a free day and the next day he must put his chin up. He's a top guy, a professional guy. He works hard. He's in the positions. He will not stop believing. Everyone accepts the situation like it is. With strikers, if you score the next game, nobody speaks."

Madrid played a back five against the Blues and were without captain Sergio Ramos as well as other key players.

It's all to play for at Stamford Bridge next week and Tuchel was keen to stress the game was much more about his attackers.

He added: "I don't feel we are pointing fingers but of course the strikers want to score, to do it for themselves and the team. This is the highest level and when you have a good half an hour like we did with so many chances and half chances, then yes we'd wish for more composure and more precision in the decision making and finishing.

"The challenge was not to worry about that and to not regret too long. We did that in the second half by defending very well."
