Cristiano Ronaldo Has Topped Instagram's Rich List For The First Time With Ridiculous Amount Per Post

Ronaldo is officially theworld's most lucrative man on social media.

Cristiano Ronaldo has beaten famous influencers Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian, as well as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson on Instagram's rich list.

The Juventus superstar has over 300 million followers on the platform and charges an absolute premium for posts.

According to marketing firm Hopper HQ per The Sun, Ronaldo can charge up to £1.2 million for firms to advertise on his page.

It's the first time he's been top of the list since records began in 2017.

He has overtaken former WWE wrestler-turned-actor Johnson who had previously been top with £1.1 million

Ronaldo's longtime rival Lionel Messi is the only other sportsperson on the list, coming in seventh with £840,000 earned per post.

Ronaldo spent this summer playing for Portugal at Euro 2020 before their eliminationat the hands of Belgium last Sunday.

He's currently the tournament's top scorer with five goals and he tied Ali Daei's international goal record of 109.

Daei, who scored 109 times in 149 appearances for Iran between 1993 and 2006, congratulated the 36-year-old on his achievement.

He said: "Congratulations to @cristiano who is now one goal away from breaking the men's international goal scoring record.

Ronaldo will now turn his attention to sorting out his club future, with rumours suggesting he could leave Juventus.
