Jamie Carragher left out Manchester United great Paul Scholes as he made some controversial choices when naming his all-time Premier League greats.
The ex-Liverpool defender was picking his six entrants to the Premier League Hall of Fame with Thierry Henry on Monday Night Football. Henry, alongside Alan Shearer, are the first ex-players inducted into the new Hall of Fame - with six more to follow.
However, despite Scholes winning the Premier League 11 times during his incredibly successful career, he did not make Carragher's top six.
Instead, Carragher chose his former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard, Chelsea legend John Terry, Arsenal genius Dennis Bergkamp, plus a trio of ex-Man United players: Roy Keane, Eric Cantona and Peter Schmeichel.

"We've had the Scholes, Gerrard, [Frank] Lampard debate and people will say all the others on the list have won the Premier League, Stevie didn't," said Carragher.
"My two arguments are: there is no player in the history of the Premier League in the PFA Team of the Year more than Gerrard. That shows what players playing against him thought of him...
"I've always said Henry is the best player to play in the Premier League, but what I would say is Steven Gerrard is possibly the best all-round player.
"Stevie I think if he'd have played right-back, he'd have played for England at right-back. He did play holding midfield and attacking midfield... In terms of all-round quality and someone who could have played all over the pitch, to a similar standard, those are the two reasons he's gone in for me."

Scholes and Lampard both made Henry's top six, however Carragher chose a different path, being the only one of the pair to pick a defender (Terry) and a goalkeeper (Schmeichel).
"For me the best centre-back to play in the Premier League era, I do believe that," said Carragher of the former Chelsea captain, as he likened him to Keane in that the hard-man reputation overshadowed the quality on the pitch.
"You said about Keane, it's similar with John Terry," he added. "We think of him as the warrior, the leader.

"His passing ability was as good as any centre-back I've seen in the Premier League. I've never seen anyone switch play with their weak foot - he played 60-yard passes with his left.
"One of the all-time great captains and my type of defender, rather than Rio Ferdinand, and the type of defender I was - I wasn't as good!"
The three players Henry agreed upon were Keane, Bergkamp and Cantona.
On picking the enigmatic French striker, Carragher said: "He is one of the biggest figures in Premier League history.

"Look at how Manchester United's fortunes turned on that signing. The decision to leave Leeds, he came in and there was just something special about him.
"He took over the Premier League for three or four years. The collar up, that swagger, the goals, chipping goalkeepers. He's a huge figure in terms of ability and a player who changed the Premier League."
