Erling Haaland has topped the list of players to reach 25 goals quickest while playing in Europe's top five leagues this century.

The Norwegian superstar joined Borussia Dortmund last January and quickly established himself as their star striker.

Despite being just 20-years-old, Haaland managed to notch 25 Bundesliga goals in 25 appearances.

It means he reached the milestone quicker than icons such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively.

Haaland's latest goals came at the weekend which he scored twice against RB Leipzig.

Despite only signing for Dortmund a year ago, Haaland's form has seen him linked with a big-money move next summer.

Two teams are Manchester City and Manchester United, but the blue side of Manchester think they have the edge.

Pep Guardiola's side believe the 15 per cent sell-on clause they have on Dortmund star Jadon Sancho help them snap up Haaland.

Per a report from The Sun, it is likely to be worth £15 million with 'BVB' valuing the England international at around £120 million.

It means they could agree to waiver or renegotiate that in order to gain leverage over other clubs in their pursuit of the Norwegian forward.

City are looking for a new frontman as they seek to find a long-term replacement for Sergio Aguero, who is struggling with fitness issues this season.

The 32-year-old has played just five Premier League games this campaign.

Do you think Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer?
