Arsenal wonderkid now in Championship gave hilarious response to fake PSG transfer interest

It's a hilarious response.

Arsenal wonderkid Charlie Patino once delivered a hilarious response to a supporter who told him Paris Saint-Germain were trying to sign him on Football Manager.

While only having two first-team appearances to his name at Arsenal, Patino has won himself a place in the hearts of Gooners.

The youngster, currently on loan in the Championship with Swansea, was 18 when he made his Gunners debut against Sunderland in the Carabao Cup on December 21, 2021.

The then-teenager scored in the 5-1 win and soon after the midfield appeared part of the first-team fold at the Emirates.

However, in recent times Patino has been trying to impress out on loan in a bid to become part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.

The playmaker spent time at Blackpool last season and is now on a season-long loan with Swansea, where he has claimed a goal and four assists in 13 outings.

Patino is full of potential, and in one person's Football Manager save, such potential was actualised to the extent that he was attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who had put in a bid for the player.

The fan rejected the offer but virtual Patino wasn't happy, which led to the supporter DMing the youngster on Instagram asking for some “advice”.

The person optimistically said: “Hey man. So basically I developed you in FM and you became a class player who began to carry my Arsenal side. The problem is that PSG bid for you and now you’re upset that I rejected them.

“And advice to get virtual Charlie Patino back on board?”

To the FM boss’ surprise, Patino replied with a cry-laugh emoji, before adding: “Tell virtual Charlie Patino to grow up and remind him Arsenal is a classier club… He’ll soon get over it.

“Hope I win you trophies on FM.”
