Chris Kamara has sent fans an emotional update after a tear-jerking appearance on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
The beloved presenter is battling apraxia of speech after being diagnosed with the neurological disorder in 2022.
Kamara's brain knows what he wants to say, but cannot properly plan and sequence the required speech sound movements.
It meant he has had to step down from various presenting gigs and stepped away from duties on Sky Sports 'Soccer Saturday' after a memorable 25-year run.

People had initially thought he was drunk because of his slurred speech and Kamara has candidly opened up about having suicidal thoughts following his diagnosis.
Kammy continues to raise awareness about the condition and chatted with former Goals on Sunday broadcasting partner Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid on GMB to discuss his fight.
It proved to be a tough watch as the 65-year-old admitted he was “ashamed" about having difficulty speaking, leading to Reid extending her hand in comfort and telling him, “You have got nothing to be ashamed of. Just let me take your hand. You have done so much to inspire other people.”

Viewers were left in tears after what was a heartbreaking watch but Kamara has took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to thank his fans for the support and apologising for crying.
Attaching a selfie of he and friend Shephard, Kamara wrote: "Big thank you to everyone who sent a message to me today Sorry I was an emotional wreck on @GMB. Would you believe I really am getting through this & @benshephard as you saw is there for me."
Kamara played for Middlesbrough, Swindon, Portsmouth and Brentford and became one of the most popular sports broadcasters thanks to his antics on Soccer Saturday.

The moment he missed a red card at Fratton Park and uttered the line, "I don't know Jeff!", will forever be remembered by fans.
