Ross County boss Derek Adams has slammed the 'shocking' standard of football in Scotland following a loss to Dundee.
The Staggies were undone by a 96th-minute winner from Joe Shaughnessy at Victoria Park, which has since seen them slip to ninth in the Scottish Premiership following the loss.
Adams, who had previously managed Ross County from 2007 to 2010 and 2011 to 2014, left his role as Morecambe boss in League Two back in November to pursue a third stint at the Scottish club, but could now be regretting his move.
Speaking after his side's 1-0 loss to Dundee on Saturday, Adams slammed the standard of football across the entire league.

"The standard is shocking. It's one of the worst games I've ever seen," Adams told BBC Sport.
"I've been back and I see the standard and I think 'wow - any chance?' If I'm a spectator watching this today, I'm thinking 'is this what Scottish football is all about?' It needs to up its game.
"I've left a team down in League Two that's miles better than this team. Miles. That's saying something. We had the bottom budget in League Two, and they were 100 times better than this.
"I'm so disappointed. We've been done with a sucker punch but in the final third we have to be better. I can't change the standard at this moment in time. I'm so frustrated."
His former side Morecambe are currently sat in eighth place across the standings in League Two following an impressive 5-0 win against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, which marked their third game unbeaten.

The Shrimps had suffered back-to-back defeats following the departure of Adams on November 20, which included a 6-0 thrashing against Ryan Reynolds' Wrexham side, but now appear to be steadying the ship in the absence of their former boss, with Ged Brennan in charge of the club.
