Football's most valuable teenage XI has been revealed including Premier League and La Liga stars

Football's most valuable teenage XI has been revealed by CIES.

The CIES Football Observatory has revealed the most valuable teenage stars in world football, with plenty of Premier League players making the cut.

CIES’ decorated list names 100 players who are under the age of 23, with Barcelona star Lamine Yamal topping the latest charts.

The 16-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign in which he also made his debut for the Spanish national team.

Chelsea’s Cole Palmer makes the cut after a superb debut season at Stamford Bridge. The former Manchester City man is currently valued at an eye-watering price of £100m.

Manchester United’s summer signing Rasmus Hojlund also made the top five, with his price at £92.4m. The Dane has netted 13 goals for Erik ten Hag’s side so far this year.

Jeremy Doku is also high up on the list as his stock continues to rise for the current Premier League champions. He is rated at £91.5m in total.

Rico Lewis, also of Manchester City, has enjoyed a superb rise over the last few years and, at 19, is set up to have a terrific career in the professional game. The England international is valued at £70m.

Elsewhere across the decorated list, there are names such as PSG’s Warren Zaire-Emery and Benfica’s Joao Neves.

Brighton and Hove Albion’s Evan Ferguson was also included, with the Republic of Ireland star continually linked with a move to Manchester United.

In terms of teenage valuation, Alejandro Garnacho also warrants an inclusion after a stunning campaign which has seen him carry the Red Devils attacking thrust at times.

Soon-to-be Real Madrid forward Endrick was always likely to be a shoo-in and the Brazilian star is soon set to test himself in La Liga alongside the likes of Jude Bellingham and the incoming Kylian Mbappe.

The most expensive teenage XI also featured Lille’s Leny Yoro, Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi and fellow centre-back Jorrel Hato from Ajax.

Hato has, at just 18, attempted to steer the Dutch side through a difficult campaign and has bravely worn the captain’s armband on many occasions.
