Manchester United legend Gary Neville has reacted to the news that the club could reportedly be taken off the market by the Glazers.
Since November 2022, United have been put on sale by the Glazers as they looked to cash in on the Old Trafford club.
However, a deal is yet to materialise amid rumours that no one has managed to meet the £6 billion asking price.

To date, it has been widely reported that Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the front runners to buy United.
On Saturday night, it was reported by the Daily Mail that the Glazers will take the club off the market after bidders failed to meet their asking price.
The report claimed that the owners are now holding out for £10 billion for United.

A source told the Daily Mail: “The Glazers are thick-skinned and won’t be influenced by any negative fan reactions.”
Reacting to the latest development, former United defender Neville wrote on social media: “I don’t believe the Glazers not selling/doing anything story. They have to do something. They’ve run out of money and the financial situation is desperate.
“They need investment in. They’re also having a toxic impact on the club from the inside out. The negligence continues for now but I don’t think it can go on without some action on raising funds.”
Neville continued: “Also who would come in as a minority alongside them with the damage it would do to their reputation.”

It is believed that both Sheikh Jassim and Ratcliffe have submitted three bids worth around the £6 billion mark.
Both parties have reportedly been left frustrated by the Glazers’ stance, making multiple rounds of offers and being given no indication of where they stood in terms of completing a deal to purchase Man United.
On the pitch, United have had a mixed start to the new campaign after collecting six points from their opening three matches.
The Red Devils are back in Premier League action on Sunday as they take on Arsenal.
