Fans love Jude Bellingham's superb interview after starring in England's 3-1 win over Scotland

Jude Bellingham bagged a goal and an assist in England's 3-1 win over Scotland at Hampden Park.

Jude Bellingham received rave reviews for his performance against Scotland and his post-match interview had a similar level of praise.

The 20-year-old ran the show in England's 3-1 win at Hampden Park, which marked the 150th anniversary of the first ever international fixture.

After Phil Foden put the Three Lions ahead, Bellingham doubled the lead in quick succession before laying on an outrageous assist for Harry Kane to secure the victory in the 81st minute just when Scotland had some momentum following Harry Maguire's own goal that reduced the deficit.

Bellingham's masterclass follows on from an incredible start to life at Real Madrid, where he's scored five goals in his first four games and won the La Liga Player of the Month for August.

Some England fans have decided that Bellingham has the capacity to almost single-handedly drag England to the European Championships in Germany next year.

And Bellingham displayed his elite mentality after the game when he expressed disappointment in how he played in the 1-1 draw against Ukraine on Saturday and admitted he had a point to prove going into the Scotland clash.

As per usual, the Birmingham City academy graduate spoke with maturity beyond his years.

"I wasn't happy with how I played against Ukraine," Bellingham stated.

"I think I showed a level that wasn't anywhere near my best and I think that's always the motivation, to get back to your best.

"I think that was close to it tonight. I used the last performance as a bit of motivation and I knew the game tonight was more than a friendly game.

"I still think I was involved in a lot of our good play, I just think for a longer period of time I could have been involved a little bit more and that's on me to try and be a matchwinner.

"I wasn't able to do that at the weekend clearly but the last two days that's really drove me to try and perform better this evening and I've managed to do that.

And fans lapped up the post-match chat with Kelly Somers on Channel 4, hailing the midfield maestro as "perfect", "humble and "composed".

One said: "Jude Bellingham absolutely picking apart his performance against Ukraine in the post-match interview there and that’s why he’s as good as he is.

A second commented: "Even Bellingham’s interviews are different class. So thoughtful and accomplished. What an individual he is."

A third added: "Such a mature interview from Bellingham."

Another waxed lyrical, writing: "My god, Bellingham is even perfect at interviews. What a boy. So glad he's out this country and the press circus that would undoubtedly try and destroy him. Everything about him is brilliant."

A fifth opined: "What a post-match interview from Bellingham. Will be England's best. Composed on and off pitch. Top man."

A final user summarised: "This is a top class interview from Jude Bellingham. He is serious, professional and humble. What a boy."
