TV presenter Laura Woods' incredible Twitter response goes viral.

ITV Sport presenter Laura Woods' incredible response to a troll calling her 'the worst presenter in sport' on social media has gone viral.

The 36-year-old who is currently fronting ITV's coverage of the FA Cup alongside her work for TNT Sports covering the Champions League is widely regarded as one of the best presenters in the game.

However, according to Twitter/X user Darren Smithers, she is the worst presenter in sport.

The comment was made during coverage of Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 victory over Burnley in the FA Cup third round last night, and Woods was quick to hit back with a comment of her own.

Quoting the harsh tweet, she posted a picture of her recent award for sports presenter of the year with the caption "Factually incorrect, Dazzlaaaa".

The award was presented to Woods for her coverage of both the Men's and Women's World Cup, Lionesses international games and the FA Cup.

The sensational response went viral with one user thanking her for inspiring other women in the sports industry.

Many others were also quick to express how brilliant she is highlighting her superb knowledge and experience across a range of sports.

Prior to working in football Woods worked at Sky Sports covering Darts and NFL. She has also previously presented boxing coverage for DAZN.

The criticism of women broadcasters and pundits within football has been highlighted a lot more recently following a series of comments made by former men's professional Joey Barton.

Barton has criticised several broadcasters for using women in their coverage, but his comments have backfired with many in the game quick to state their support for women broadcasters.

ITV recently issued a statement condemning the comments made by Barton who specifically targeted their pundits Eni Aluko and Lucy Ward.

They called him 'shameful' and reiterated that 'football is for everyone'.
