Dominik Szoboszlai sends warning to Liverpool teammate after bold 'best in the world' claim

Dominik Szoboszlai has sent a warning to Trent Alexander-Arnold following Liverpool's emphatic 4-1 win over Chelsea last night.

Liverpool were comfortable winners at Anfield, with goals from Diogo Jota, Conor Bradley, Szoboszlai, and Luis Diaz.

Despite the landslide scoreline in Liverpool's favour the match wasn't without controversy as Chelsea had two very strong penalty appeals waved away by VAR whilst the game was at 0-0.

Ally McCoist was less than impressed with the decisions made by VAR officials.

"I honestly don't know what he's looking at, I really don't," McCoist said on TNT Sports commentary.

Despite the controversy, Liverpool did exactly what they needed to do and killed the game off when it looked like Chelsea could get back into it through Christopher Nknunku.

During the match, Darwin Nunez broke a Premier League record by striking the woodwork four times, but it was Alexander-Arnold's replacement Bradley who stole the headlines.

Bradley assisted Jota’s goal before scoring his first-ever goal for the club with a fine finish into the bottom corner.

In the second half, Bradley played in a delicious cross for Szoboszlai to head home the third.

After the match, a compilation of the youngster’s performance went viral on social media.

During the post-match interview, fellow goalscorer Szoboszlai was sure to praise the 20-year-old defender for his performances of late and sent a

"Trent should take care of his position," The Hungarian joked.

"Now, we need everybody, we have a lot of games. Trent got injured, unlucky, but he (Bradley) has done very well and now hopefully nobody else gets injured."

Bradley doesn't seem to be getting too far ahead of himself despite his immaculate form, and made sure to highlight he doesn't see himself dethroning the England international just yet.

"Trent... probably the best right-back in the world at the minute, if not the best player in the world at the minute with the way he’s playing," he said.
