Odds slashed massively on Mo Salah's Liverpool departure after touchline row with Jurgen Klopp

Odds slashed massively on Mo Salah's Liverpool departure after touchline row with Jurgen Klopp

Will Mo Salah leave this summer?

Odds have been slashed on Mohamed Salah's next move after he was seen arguing with boss Jurgen Klopp during Liverpool's draw with West Ham.

The Egyptian King's contract expires next summer and after a poor season by his standards, rumours have been flying about his future.

Last year the Reds rejected a sensational offer of £150 million for the winger from Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad.

It's unlikely they would get as much this year, but it would still be worth cashing in on him given his age and contract length.

Salah made the headlines during Liverpool's recent 2-2 draw with West Ham after what looked to be a touchline bust-up with outgoing manager Klopp.

The 31-year-old was on the bench at the London Stadium and as he was about to come on there was a heated exchange, with striker Darwin Nunez having to calm things down between the pair.

He couldn't make the difference when he came on with Liverpool having fallen behind in the title race after failing to win three of their last four league games.

Odds on Salah's next club have now slashed following the altercation. He is now evens to move to a club in Saudi Arabia.

Whilst it would be the end of an era if Liverpool sold one of their best-ever players, it makes sense.

The club need to look to the future and will start afresh next season with a new manager likely to be Feyenoord boss Arne Slot.

Salah leaving would provide a big boost to the transfer budget especially if he went to Saudi Arabia whose clubs are known to pay big fees.

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also a team in the running and with Kylian Mbappe likely to depart, could they replace him with Salah?

Klopp refused to elaborate after the game on his falling out with Salah, and the Egyptian told the press: “If I speak today there will be fire."
