Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has revealed how he spent his first pay cheque and it could surprise some fans.
The Turkish international joined United in September last year from Fenerbahce for £4.3m to provide cover for Andre Onana, who is currently away on international duty with Cameroon.
Bayindir is set to make his debut for the Red Devils this weekend in their FA Cup fourth-round tie away to Newport County.

With Cameroon having progressed to the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations, it's also likely he will start in the Premier League until Onana returns.
Until moving to England, Bayindir had never played for a side outside of his home country and began his professional career at Ankaragucu.
It was here where he received his first ever professional pay cheque at just 16 years old and how he spent it may come as a surprise.

A lot of young players would spend it on something they don't need, but not Bayindir.
“I invested my first pay cheque as a professional in getting psychological support to improve myself,” he revealed in a documentary, as per The Times.
It's a big sign of his humility, and at a club like United where a lot of the players have become known for their big egos, it's a welcome sign.
Now 25, he's had to wait patiently for a big move and his first start, but if he impresses in a run of games starting on Sunday he could give Erik ten Hag something to think about.

Whilst Onana is the current first choice, he has been criticised for costly mistakes made this season and his spot isn't necessarily secure.
He was recently dropped by Cameroon at AFCON after a 3-1 defeat against defending champions Senegal left them on the brink of an early exit.
So, this represents a real chance for Bayindir to show he is deserving of more game time.
