Gary Neville revealed his regret after Manchester United's draw against Tottenham.

Gary Neville admits to giving 'poor advice' to certain Manchester United players before they signed for the club following their draw against Tottenham.

Man United and Spurs played out a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Rasmus Hojlund opened the scoring, with Richarlison levelling proceedings. The hosts regained the lead through Marcus Rashford, whose celebration was slammed by Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp.

Rodrigo Bentancur equalised immediately after the break as the points were shared.

After the match, Keane, Redknapp and Neville assessed the game on Sky Sports.

The former Liverpool midfielder bluntly said Man United need to "buy better players" to which Neville replied by revealing that he regrets advising players to move to the Old Trafford club.

"I’ve spoken to a couple of players before they’ve come here and said, 'You’ll never regret it; it’s a magic football club', but I have to say, looking back, it looks like pretty poor advice with what happened to them since they come," he said.

"It’s really sad because they would’ve thrived at other clubs, and other players who have chosen other clubs have gone on to be really successful."

The former Red Devils captain then mentioned Jude Bellingham as he questioned if he would've become the player he is today had he signed for the Premier League side, having been linked with the club during his time at Birmingham City and Borussia Dortmund.

He added: "You think of Jude Bellingham; he walks into the boardroom here at Manchester United, who have agreed a fee with Birmingham, and so have Dortmund.

"He has a choice between the two, and somehow that kid, well done to him, chose Borussia Dortmund, and he’s now one of the greatest players in the world.

"What would’ve happened to him if he came here? I don’t know, maybe he would’ve been a success because he’s that good, but I’m not so sure in the current environment and culture."
