Harry Maguire's darts ability stuns fans as he takes on Luke Littler in front of Man Utd team

They were shocked.

Harry Maguire took on Luke Littler in a game of darts and fans were shocked at the Manchester United star’s ability.

In a matter of months, Littler has become the biggest name in the world of darts.

The teenager gained national attention when on his tournament debut, he reached the final of the PDC World Darts Championship earlier this month, only to lose to Luke Humphries in the final. He was still 16 at the time.

Littler subsequently backed up his World Championship run by winning the Bahrain Masters and pocketing another £20,000 on top of his whopping £200,000 Alexandra Palace prize money.

The 17-year-old has been living the dream in the past month, and his fairytale 2024 continued when he met up with members of the United squad for Sky Sports’ darts challenge.

Littler, a lifelong United fan, was joined by Maguire and Christian Eriksen, with the trio put through their paces with a series of darts challenges.

Watching on from the sidelines was a contingent of the United squad, including Rasmus Hojlund, Mason Mount and Victor Lindelof.

And during the challenges, fans were astounded by the ability of both Maguire and Eriksen in front of a dart board.

Eriksen narrowly beat Maguire in two of the three challenges, though the England defender did score an impressive 171 in a nine-dart challenge.

Of course, Littler displayed his superior skills, surpassing Maguire’s 171 with just three darts.

Nevertheless, fans were impressed with Maguire.

Writing in the YouTube comments section one person said: “Maguire cooked ngl. That’s my defender.”

Another wrote: “Harry the goat.”

A third person said: “Maguire is the GOAT at every sport.”

A fourth person added: “Maguire’s character on and off the pitch turnaround has been generational guy is genuinely loved by everyone now LOL.”

Littler has made no secret of his ardent United support and was even a guest of honour for the Old Trafford club’s home encounter against Tottenham on January 14, where he met Sir Alex Ferguson.
