Bruno Fernandes has already made his feelings clear on Saudi Pro League transfer

Bruno Fernandes has already made his feelings clear on Saudi Pro League transfer

He has already made his feelings clear.

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has already demonstrated whether he would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.

On Monday, Italian transfer reporter Rudy Galetti claimed the Saudi Pro League is exploring the prospect of signing United captain Fernandes.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who scored his side’s winner against Fulham on Saturday, is reportedly a name emerging from the list of potential signings for next summer.

It's believed that representatives from the Saudi Public Investment Fund, who have majority stakes in Al Nassr, Al Hilal, Al Ittihad and Al Ahli, are set to hold talks with the Portugal star over the potential for future negotiations.

But according to the Daily Star Fernandes has already received interest from the Saudi Pro League in the past.

The publication claims that the Portugal star had the opportunity to leave Old Trafford on three occasions this summer after receiving three mega-money offers from Saudi Arabian sides.

However, Fernandes pledged himself to United by turning them all down.

For now, at least, Fernandes appears motivated by the prospect of turning United’s fortunes around having endured a tumultuous start to the season.

Speaking after netting United’s last-gasp winner at the weekend, Fernandes told the club website: “It was really good.

“Obviously we wanted to win in a different way. We could have created more chances. The last pass, the last moment of when we reach the box, we didn't always decide well.

“But we got our win and we got our goal so that is the most important [thing].”

“We have to build momentum, we have been talking about building momentum and we haven't done it yet.

“Now we know how important it is to get the three points in the Champions League and it will be a tough game because we have already played them at home.

“They are well organised, [a] difficult team to go through, but we hope to get the three points there and we will do everything we can to get three points to go through there.”
