Manchester United have reportedly made a 'verbal offer' for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat amid interest from Saudi Arabia.
Amrabat has been the subject of interest from both United and Liverpool this summer, with the two Premier League sides eager to strengthen their midfield area.
Erik ten Hag has already added Mason Mount to his ranks, after he completed the £65 million switch to Old Trafford from boyhood club Chelsea earlier this month.

However, it seems the Red Devils boss is keen to add a more defensive-minded midfielder and has reportedly taken the first steps to signing Amrabat.

That's according to Foot Mercato journalistSanti Aouna, who tweeted: "[Manchester United] have made an initial verbal offer to Sofyan Amrabat's agent. Al-Ahli have also made an offer (€15M).

"But for now, he is not interested and is still dreaming of Liga. He prefers to stay at Fiorentina if he doesn't get a good club. Many big clubs are monitoring his situation."
Fiorentina are thought to be willing to sell the midfielder but only if their asking price is met, which multiple reports have claimed is £25 million.
Although the 26-year-old's manager, Joe Barone recently warned the midfielder he must focus on Fiorentina, suggesting he is keen to keep him at the Serie A club next season.
"He [Amrabat] is also very attached to the team and to me too, we speak in English and we talk almost every day," Barone told Sky Sports Italy (quotes via Metro ).

"At the moment nothing official has arrived, I told him to come here concentrated because he is a Fiorentina player.
"He must have his head here and be ready for the start of the league, then if something comes we’ll evaluate it. We have an already very strong midfield department."
