Tom Brady serenaded in Birmingham pub as NFL legend jets in to watch the Blues against Leeds

He was spotted in the pub.

NFL legend Tom Brady was serenaded in a Birmingham pub ahead of the Blues' clash against Leeds United at St Andrews.

Brady became a Birmingham City co-owner earlier this month thanks to a long-standing relationship with the club's new American majority shareholders.

And the New England Patriots legend will chair an advisory board working with the Blues hierarchy.

Having missed Birmingham's opening day 1-1 draw to Swansea last week, as well as their 2-0 win over Cheltenham in the EFL Cup, Brady has jetted in for the club's first home game of the new campaign.

Ahead of kick-off the 46-year-old was enquiring over any pre-game plans before his first St Andrew experience.

Writing on Twitter (X), Brady said: "Any plans before kick off guys? See you at St. Andrew’s". This led Birmingham's official account to reply: "See you soon, Tom!".

And as seen in the video below, Brady was clearly guided to a pub rammed with the Birmingham faithful. Indeed, upon spotting the former NFL quarterback in the pub, conspicuously donning a beige trench coat, it appears fans began serenading him with Birmingham songs.

Brady has partnered up with Birmingham's holding company Knighthead Capital Management LLC on several other ventures.

Upon being announced as a minority owner of the Championship side earlier this month, the seven-time Super Bowl winner said: "Birmingham is an iconic club with so much history and passion and to be part of the Blues is a real honour for me.

"BCFC is built on teamwork and determination and I'm excited to work alongside the board, management and players to make our second-city club second to none.

"I've been part of some amazing teams in my day, and I'm looking forward to applying my perspective to create that same success here in Birmingham."

Meanwhile, a club statement at the time said Brady will "apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club, including working alongside the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness, and recovery systems and programs".
