BREAKING: Harry Kane's permission to fly to Munich has been revoked by Spurs at final moment

Spurs have revoked permission for Harry Kane to travel to Germany to complete his move to Bayern Munich, stunning reports claim.

Kane is due to fly to Munich on Friday morning to undergo medical tests and put pen to paper on a four-year deal after a complete agreement was reached.

But just when it looked as though the £86.4 million transfer was a formality, Sky Sports issued an update stating that Kane hasn't been given the green light.

It's said he was on his way to the airport when he was told not to fly and is now anxiously waiting at his family home.

Having agreed a deal and given their approval for Kane to move on, Spurs are reportedly trying to play "poker games" by making small changes at the very last second.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is currently in the United States, with the time difference providing a delay to proceedings.

Bayern had been locked in negotiations with Spurs over the England captain, who is out of contract next summer and was heading towards free agency.

Spurs played hard-ball and rejected three different offers from the Bundesliga champions, before accepting a fourth proposal on Thursday morning.

The first twist arrived not long after when it was reported by Sky that Kane was "increasingly likely" to stay at Spurs, where he is the club's record goalscorer.

But then the evening ended with David Ornstein of The Athletic communicating that the 30-year-old was on his way to Bayern to complete the stunning transfer and take on the vacant No.9 shirt previously worn by Robert Lewandowski.

The latest surprise update, which effectively puts the deal on hold for now, could scupper Kane's chances of making his Bayern debut against RB Leipzig in the DFL Supercup on Saturday.

Kane has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs, including 30 in the Premier League as the team finished in eighth place last season.

Should the Bayern switch happen, he will more than double his wages to around £480,000-a-week, according to reports.
