Wrexham are ready to make a January move that could seriously boost their promotion chances.
The Red Dragons, who currently sit third in the League Two ladder with 14 wins from a possible 25, have enjoyed a wonderful start to life in the Football League.
Elliot Lee and Paul Mullin are the club's top scorers with 13 and 10 goals respectively, while Steven Fletcher – a free transfer at the start of the season – netted a hat-trick on New Year's Day.

Phil Parkinson's men are not short of goals having scored 52 in the league already, but they could be about to add more firepower in attacking areas.
According to a report from Football Insider, Wrexham are plotting an ambitious move for Cliftonville forward Ronan Hale.
Hale, who won the Golden Boot last season after scoring 30 goal across all competitions, continues to impress for Northern Ireland Premiership side Cliftonville F.C.

The 25-year-old has netted 11 goals in just nine starts during the 2023/24 campaign, with scouts from England watching on regularly from the stands.
A host of League One teams, including Derby County, Portsmouth, Bolton Wanderers, Blackpool and Peterborough, are also ready to make a move in the January window.
But the pulling power of Wrexham and their co-owners, Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, could prove a huge factor in a potential deal.
Hale enjoyed a prolific three-year spell in Birmingham City's youth set-up between 2016 and 2019. He scored 28 goals in 23 appearances for their under-21s, which earned him a promotion to their under-23s.

The striker's contract, however, was terminated by mutual consent in January 2019.
Hale would soon return to Belfast to play for boyhood club Crusaders, and would later play for St Patrick's Athletic, Larne and his current club, Cliftonville.
Rather unsurprisingly, the forward is being chased by many after scoring 41 goals in the last two seasons, including Wrexham, who have already agreed their first move of the January window.
It was reported this week that Luke McNicholas' loan deal from Sligo Rovers will be made permanent in the coming weeks.
