Diego Godin and Deyverson should be in for heavy bans after both were caught spitting on each other during Atletico Madrid's draw with Alaves earlier.
The La Liga sides went head to head at Mendizorroza, with the home side looking to move up into the top 10, while the away team are trying to bridge the gap to the top four.
Neither were able to do it - playing out a stuffy affair where both defences came out on top.

But if the actual football was devoid of headlines, Godin and Deyverson provided some when they were involved in a horrible spitting incident towards the end of the game.

The referee didn't appear to catch either incident, despite the fact both players did go into the book during the game.
Footage of the incident should mean both either receive punishment from the league or from their club - but La Liga certainly doesn't dish out retrospective bans so they should escape punishment.
