Incredible moment goalkeeper scores 96th minute bicycle kick equaliser

Goalkeeper Frederick Toomer popped up with an incredible 96th minute equaliser.

A goalkeeper scoring is one of the best sights in football, but a bicycle kick in the 96th minute takes it up another level completely.

Hong Kong FC were trailing 1-0 to Tai Chung in the Hong Kong Premier League, with Yip Cheuk Man opening the scoring in the 68th minute.

The hosts then had Martin Fray sent off in the 89th minute and had to play the latter stages with 10 men.

But then they got a corner in added time and even with a man less, decided to send goalkeeper Freddie Toomer up.

And incredibly, the ball made its way to the 'keeper at the far post. He swivelled his body and produced an outrageous acrobatic effort to level matters in the dying embers.

Toomer raced off in celebration and was mobbed by his teammates in fantastic scenes at the Hong Kong Football Club Stadium.

HKFC are currently fourth in the table after claiming a last-gasp point, having won five, drew three and lost two of their ten games so far.

30-year-old Toomer previously played for Eastleigh in Non League before moving to Hong Kong. He turned out for Club Colts and Club Wanderers before joining HKFC.

But as fine as his effort was, it's still not the best overhead kick scored by a goalkeeper in the 96th minute.

In South Africa back in December 2016, Oscarine Masuluke salvaged a point for Baroka FC against Orlando Pirates with the most outrageous acrobatic goal in the dying embers.

After displaying sublime technique with his back to goal, the shotstopper celebrated by dancing around the corner flag.

The 29-year-old's heroics saw him nominated for the 2017 FIFA Puskas Award and he finished second in the voting, losing out to Olivier Giroud's stunning scorpion kick goal for Arsenal against Crystal Palace.
