Someone call Liam Neeson...

Let's face it, the Taken films really went downhill after the original, didn't they? However, producer Luc Besson may have just found another reason to get Liam Neeson to dust off his particular set of skills after Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was abducted during his post match press conference, last night.

The Blues' boss was in high spirits following his side's Premier League title clinching 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns, last night and was addressing the press after exhausting himself with some pretty passionate celebrations.

However, as the former Juventus and Italy manager was fielding questions, he was TAKEN by David Luiz and Diego Costa.

Now, if Liam Neeson isn't available to start twatting people left, right and centre in order to retrieve the Chelsea manager, may I suggest someone puts a call in to N'Golo Kante to retrieve the Italian coach? Actually, that might make for too short of a film. Give the Neeson role to Nemanja Matic. That would make any fight scenes a shitload better.

Weird, Chelsea related Taken fan fiction aside, the prank by Luiz and Costa during the press conference displays just how well loved Conte is by his players and how well he's bonded his squad together over the course of the season.

Next season will be an even bigger test for the former Bianconeri boss, though, as he will have to reverse his fortunes in the Champions League as Chelsea aim to become champions of Europe for the second time in their history.

Conte's record in European competition during his three years as Juventus manager wasn't particularly impressive, being eliminated in the Champions League quarter-finals in 2012/13 comfortably by Bayern Munich 4-0 on aggregate before failing to advance past the group stage the following season, winning just one game out of six.

We're yet to hear what Luiz and Costa's demands are for releasing the Chelsea manager.
