One disgruntled Stoke City fan has given someone the chance to buy a very reasonable late Christmas present by putting the whole first team squad on eBay.
The Potters are having a poor season and currently sit second bottom of the Championship, only ahead of bottom side Wigan Athletic on goal difference with the Latics having played a game less, having only won five of their 23 games.
On Friday night they led 1-0 against Middlesbrough but conceded twice to lose 2-1 and that annoyed one fan enough to head to eBay and place the entire first team up for sale, with the bidding starting at just 99p but now up to £114, at time of writing.
Clearly 'jezzal69' isn't being so nice about the team when he says the condition is 'For parts or not working' and he's even more scathing in his description of the team.

To give potential buyers more information the seller writes, "Stoke City FC First Team Squad. Condition is For parts or not working. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
"Not suitable for task for which bought, unreliable and unpredictable, job lot of below average footballers, attitudes questionable, work ethic poor, not advisable to use as dog walkers as cannot hold onto a lead," ouch!
Stoke manager Michael O'Neil isn't exactly against selling his players, though he probably wasn't imagining it would be the whole squad, with the Northern Ireland and Stoke manager recently explaining, via the Stoke Sentinel, that he had too big a squad.

Talking about his need to sell before buying O'Neil said, "There's no room in the changing room for any more players!
"We won't be able to bring any in unless some players leave first of all. We had 17 not starting (against Wigan). That's too many. That's the reality, without young players. We just have to manage that situation between now and January."
The paper report that Senegal midfielder Badou Ndiaye is likely to be the first player to leave the bet365 Stadium during the January transfer window.

Ndiaye is in Turkey to complete a deal to move to Trabzonspor, just two years after joining the club from Galatasaray.
Someone better tell the top bidder that Ndiaye isn't included in their package!
