Prince Charles once revealed that he is an avid supporter of Burnley -- and the Premier League club responded by giving him a complimentary VIP season ticket.
The Prince of Wales, who is the heir apparent to The Queen, has often visited the town of Burnley and initially kept hush-hush on his allegiance to the Clarets.
The 73-year-old doesn’t hold the same loyalty to West Ham as Her Majesty, with Charles breaking his silence to an audience at Windsor Castle.

During a reception and dinner for the British Asian Trust in 2012, Charles opened up about the work of his charities in the town of Burnley and the benefits they have brought.
His Royal Highness also aligned his loyalty to Burnley after he was asked if he supported a British football team.
“A consortium of my charities, including the British Asian Trust, has been working in Burnley,” Charles said.
“Hence, some of you asked this evening whether I support a British football club and I said, ‘Yes, Burnley.’

“And people have responded ‘Burnley?’ Oh, yes, because Burnley has been through some very challenging times and I’m trying to find ways of helping to regenerate and raise aspirations and self-esteem in that part of the world.
“My charities have been working there together to demonstrate that an integrated approach can produce the best dividends.”
Charles, who hinted at his love for the club as early as 2010, previously met with former Burnley chairman Barry Kilby and then-manager Brian Laws during a visit to Turf Moor.
Following the Prince of Wales’ royal seal of approval for Burnley, the Clarets offered him a VIP season ticket and a place in their directors’ box for the following season.

“It’s no surprise to see Charles reaffirming his support for Burnley Football Club as we know he keeps a close eye on our results,” a Burnley spokesman said at the time.
“In fact, as part of our new season ticket package, we are sending a complimentary VIP season ticket to Charles and we hope to see him cheering on the Clarets from the directors’ box next season… hopefully in the Premier League.”
Prince William doesn’t share the same football allegiance as his father, with Charles’ eldest son throwing his full support behind Premier League side Aston Villa.
