Introducing The Worst Striker On FIFA 18

Going off statistics...

You may be surprised to discover that the worst striker on FIFA 18 when it comes to statistics has played 11 Premier League games this season.

Oliver McBurnie featured for Swansea City this term, starting two games and being on the bench for nine for the Swans.

The 21-year old Scottish international was loaned out to Championship side Barnsley in January and has scored seven goals this term.

It's a polar opposite to his stats on FIFA 18, where FIFA players have not had any success with him.

As per data from Fut Bin, he has been used in 68 Ultimate Team games, managing a lowly average of 0.03 goals and assists per game.

McBurnie has overtaken former Manchester City striker David Faupala as the worst striker on the game.

A 62-rated striker who goes for around 3,300 or 4,000 coins on the game depending on your console of choice, he has been used in 38,218 games and boasts an underwhelming tally of 0.05 goals per game and 0.07 assists per game.

The Frenchman, who signed for City from Lens as an 18-year old in 2015, has one goal in one game for the Blues after scoring against Chelsea a few years back but clearly he doesn't do the business in the virtual world.

Still, it could be worse for McBurnie and Faupala - they don't possess the worst shooting statistics. No, that belongs to AC Milan's Colombian centre-back Jherson Vergara.

On the face of it, the 70-rated defender, who has a potential of 80 on the game, doesn't appear to be the worst player in the world.

However, just a click glance over his silver card and you'll see that he has a shockingly poor shooting rating of 14 - the worst on the game.

Of course, given he's a young and upcoming centre-back, his shooting isn't going to be up to scratch with Ronaldo or Messi's. And nobody expects it to be.

But with an overall shooting grade of 14, calculated from grim stats such as 12 long shots, 14 volleys and 15 shot power, it's going to be an incredible achievement to find the net with him.
