Alexis Mac Allister gutted to have same rating as Darwin Nunez on EA FC, claims it 'should be higher'

Liverpool players have been reacting to their EA FC 24 ratings

Liverpool star Alexis Mac Allister was left gutted after being given the same rating as Darwin Nunez on EA Sports FC 24.

EA FC 24 is EA Sports' first football video game without the FIFA branding in 30 years.

The newly improved game promises to be the best football video game ever and after a long wait, the game is finally available worldwide.

On Friday morning, a video of Liverpool players reacting to their ratings was released. You can see Mac Allister’s reaction below.

Diogo Jota was heard asking the Argentine: “Are you happy if you have the same rating as Darwin(Nunez)?”

Mac Allister replied: “How much?”

When told the rating was 82, a disappointed Mac Allister said: “No, it should be higher.”

After looking at his stats, the Argentine said: “Pace 70?”

At this point, Jota joked: “Yeah you’re not very quick.”

Ibrahima Konate added: “But 82? Normally with the World Cup, you have to be 85 minimum but I don’t care because you won the World Cup against me.”

Mac Allister joined Liverpool from Brighton and Hove Albion during the summer transfer window for a reported fee of £35 million.

So far, the 24-year-old has often been played in an unfamiliar defensive midfield role for Liverpool.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Mac Allister spoke about learning the new role. He said: “I like it (playing in a deeper role), of course I've got to defend a little bit more, but that's not a problem for me because I'm a team player.

“It's so important for the players to understand the game and that's what I try to improve every day. Then you can play as an eight, six or 10, wherever.”

Mac Allister continued: “Now I'm playing as a six, which is a new position for me, but it's a position I really like, I can do it and I can help the team from there.”

Liverpool will be back in action this weekend as they take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
