Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher take part in "Who is most likely to" trend

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher take part in "Who is most likely to" trend

The two Sky Sports pundits had to decide who would win in an arm wrestle, who the better dancer is and which of them is better at their job.

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher ended any debate about which of them is the better pundit, by taking part in the 'who is most likely to' TikTok trend.

Frenemies Neville and Carragher have become two of the best football pundits on television, especially when it comes to Monday Night Football.

During that show, the pair are given time to really go into detail on their opinions and explain some fantastic insight into the game.

On Monday, Neville once again claimed that he doesn't think that Arsenal will win the league, having previously said he thinks they'll finish third.

However, he also basically told viewers not to listen to him, admitting that Carragher is the better pundit during a game after the show, as you can see in the video below.

The pair had plenty to discuss following the weekend's football, with Neville pointing out the errors in midfield that Manchester United made during their loss to Arsenal.

He explained how the side had left gaps in between the lines, allowing Arsenal's midfield to get on top and then feed Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka on the wings.

That might not have been such an issue if Casemiro had been available, with the Brazilian missing through suspension and replaced by Scott McTominay.

Roy Keane later named McTominay as one of the four United players who the club need to move on from in the summer, if they want to compete at the top level.

Newcastle United have been linked with the Scottish midfielder, although Erik ten Hag's side don't want to sell their players this month.

The two Sky Sports pundits also had the breaking news that Frank Lampard had been sacked to discuss, with Everton not actually making it official until the game between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham had kicked off.

Lampard's loss to West Ham at the weekend was the final nail in the coffin of Lampard's time at Goodison Park, but the manager wasn't the only one to blame for the issues.

Carragher claimed that the Merseyside club were the 'worst run' in the Premier League, saying, "Their supporters haven’t got banners in the crowd for Frank Lampard, they’ve got them for Farhad Moshiri and the board.

"I said on this programme six to 12 months ago Everton are the worst run club in the country, and it wasn’t a flippant remark - I believed it.

"I’m not saying that as an ex-Liverpool player, I’m saying that as an ex-Everton fan.

"When I made that comment Everton got in touch with me and I admired it, almost on the front foot trying to defend their club, and I thought okay, fair enough, you say some things in the media and people come back at you, but I didn’t think I was wrong then, and I’m not wrong when I say it now."

The Toffees are currently 19th in the league, level on points with bottom side Southampton, having lost to them recently, and are only above the Saints on goal difference.

Marcelo Bielsa is reportedly the club's favoured candidate to take over, whilst Sean Dyche is also apparently in the running, which, as Neville pointed out, is two polar opposites, perhaps proving Carragher right.
