Georgia Stanway sings Sweet Caroline during Bayern Munich's title celebrations, it was so bad

England international Georgia Stanway performed the song in front of a big crowd in Munich.

Georgia Stanway celebrated Bayern Munich's title win at the weekend with a wonderfully tone-deaf version of 'Sweet Caroline' in front of thousands.

The 24-year-old England international, who joined the German club from Manchester City last summer, helped Bayern's women clinch their fifth women's Bundesliga title on Sunday.

Alexander Straus' side secured an emphatic 11-1 win against bottom-of-the-league Turbine Potsdam, with Japan midfielder Saki Kumagai hitting a hat-trick.

Seven Bayern players managed to get on the scoresheet at the Bayern training ground, including Stanway, who spent the evening at the Munich Marienplatz with her teammates.

In fact, after gathering on the balcony at Munich's town hall, Stanway decided to grab a microphone and perform Neil Diamond song 'Sweet Caroline' in front of thousands.

After 'master of ceremonies' Stephan Lehmann asked the Barrow-born midfielder to sing her “favourite song”, she delivered an unforgettable performance.

One fan commented on the below video, saying: "She is an icon," while another wrote: "When will it be uploaded to Spotify."

A third said: "You can take the girl out of England but you can never take the England out of the girl," and a fourth added: "I AM CRYING."

Earlier this year, England regular Stanway, who also sang 'Sweet Caroline' during her Bayern Munich initiation, said moving to Germany was "the best decision I've ever made".

"I'm loving it," she told ITV. "Still now I can say it's the best decision I've ever made.

"Moving here was a big change in life, a big change in football but I couldn't be happier I feel like I'm in such a good place.

"I knew straight away that this was where I wanted to be, where I felt at home, this was where I could be my best person and footballer."

Thoughts on Stanway's version of England's Euros anthem?
