A Ghana fan brutally trolled South Korea fans during the dramatic World Cup clash on Monday afternoon.
Both teams were looking to secure a vital win in order to keep their hopes of getting out of Group H alive.
Ajax star Mohammed Kudus then made it 2-0 to the Black Stars 10 minutes later. Otto Addo’s side went into the half-time interval 2-0 up.
In the second half, South Korea produced a spirited performance as Cho Gue Sung scored in the 58th and 61st minute to draw his side level.
However, Ghana went back ahead through Kudus who finished expertly in the 68th minute. Despite a late charge from South Korea, Ghana managed to hold on to the victory.
During the match, a Ghana fan was captured shouting and gesturing to South Korean supporters after his side went back ahead.
The fan, obviously excited after seeing his country get the go-ahead goal was seen showing the South Korean fans his Ghana scarf, whilst shouting: “We can win this tournament!”
The South Korean fans responded by simply smiling as they continued to pay attention to the match.
The dramatic 3-2 win puts Ghana in a good position to qualify for the last 16, a win in their last game against Uruguay will ensure their passage to the knockout rounds.
Match winner Kudus said after the match: “It's a good feeling. We wanted the three points and we got them. Everyone was absolutely on top of their game today. They came back to 2-2, we had to come up with more energy and it happened.
“I want to thank all my teammates, it's a team game and they all played a part in my performance. The cross-in from Jordan [Ayew] and the cut-back from Inaki [Williams]. Big up to everyone because everyone played a part.”
On the crucial clash against Uruguay, Kudus said: “We're fully confident. We came in with the same mentality, we'll go in with 100%.”
