Marouane Fellaini has taken to life in the Chinese Super League like a fish to water as the former Manchester United midfielder scored the winner for Shandong Luneng Taishan F.C on his debut.

For all the talk about how much life has changed at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho was sacked and replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the biggest thing to change has been largely forgotten, Marouane Fellaini.

The Belgian midfielder was a figure of amusement for much of his time at Old Trafford. The first and only player brought in the only summer under David Moyes and somehow managed to survive all the way to Mourinho leaving.

Once Jose had gone though he was the first player out of the door, with Solskjaer clearly sending a message that the former Everton player would no longer be an attacking option for United to lump the ball long for.

Like a lot of players these days Fellaini decided to move to the Chinese Super League and he signed for Shandong Luneng Taishan F.C. in January.

On his debut on Friday afternoon he grabbed the winner as his new side opened their Super League campaign with a win against Beijing Renhe FC.

There's been a lot of players move to China in the last few years because of the big investment in the league and this year alone Fellaini has been joined by former Spurs midfielder Mousa Dembele and former Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik.

Brazilians Paulinho, Oscar and Hulk are amongst the big names who have been in China for a while and there could be more high profile players moving in the next few years.

United have not struggled without Fellaini despite recent injuries. Paul Pogba, Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic have been excellent together but Scott McTominay, Andres Pereira and Fred have also been good replacements in recent games.

Who will be next to join Fellaini in China?
