There were bizarre scenes in Sunday's Championship match between Hull City and Birmingham City, with kick-off delayed at the MKM Stadium because the goals were too big.
The match was due to commence at 3pm but kick-off was put back by 20 minutes after the officials realised that the goals were the incorrect size after checking them with a tape measure.
Football Daily reported that the goals were two inches too tall and needed to be sawed down before the match could begin.
Footage subsequently emerged of club officials sawing the wooden posts down to the correct size.

Hull City had already confirmed the game would be delayed because of the error.
"Kick-off this afternoon has been delayed to 3:20pm," read a club statement posted on Twitter.
"The match officials have informed the club that the goal posts need to be readjusted and HawkEye recalibrated before the match can start."
Thankfully, the game was eventually able to get underway 20 minutes after its original start time.

The bizarre delay at Hull came less than an hour after Sunday's Premier League match between Leeds United and Arsenal was suspended in similarly strange circumstances.
Just 69 seconds after play had started at Elland Road, referee Chris Kavanagh called a halt to the match because of an apparent issue with his earpiece and microphone.
It later emerged that a power cut in Leeds had left Kavanagh without access to VAR, with the goal line technology and TV feeds also affected.

Play was eventually able to resume around 40 minutes later once the issue had been fixed.
