Jack Grealish describes his experience in Qatar so far, fans are amused

The England star has described what it's been like in the Middle Eastern country, but fans have ridiculed his lack of vocabulary.

England and Manchester City winger Jack Grealish has been ridiculed on social media this week, as fans have been amused by his lack of adjectives and vocabulary when describing his experience so far in Qatar.

The 27-year-old was recently interviewed by talkSPORT, where he revealed that the squad have been on camel rides and had been given flowers among other things.

“We all got given flowers. I haven’t put them in a vase yet.

“There was a camel and that as well, I got on the camel’s back, there was a bird, I don’t know what bird it was. The camel fully stood up, I was so high, I was scared."

“I got on it but I didn’t think it would go as high as it did because I didn’t realise how big it would be and when it stood up it was so big.”

Despite it sounding like Grealish was enjoying himself and the experience, football fans on Twitter started to mock the ex-Aston Villa man, comparing his descriptions to that of a primary school student.

Grealish then went on to explain how the England staff had gone the extra mile to make the players feel more at home and welcomed.

“Stuff like that is so nice...there’s all photo frames around our rooms of our families and it just makes it a little bit more homely."

“I think our families filled out some questionnaires like what aftershave and asking them to send photos and stuff like that so we got to our rooms last night and there was all that little stuff making it feel a little more homely.”

He managed to get Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka over to join the interview, who revealed that there were paintings of Gareth Southgate and the infamous picture of himself on an inflatable unicorn.

"There’s a nice little painting of me on the unicorn. When I first saw it I was laughing but it was actually nice." Saka explained.

Grealish then responded: "We’re just waiting for another inflatable, we’ll see what it is this year, we need to move on from the unicorn don’t we?"

From the sounds of it, him and the rest of the England squad seem to be settling in well to life in Qatar, where they will hope to stay until the 18th of December, the date of the final.

The tricky winger may not be the best with his words, but he is one of England's most dangerous attacking assets going into this tournament, and definitely seems like he gets on harmoniously with all of his England team-mates.
