Jadon Sancho has been left out of Manchester United's winter trip to Spain as he looks to get back to his best following a lean spell.
The English winger has struggled at United this season under Erik ten Hag and the Dutch manager has reportedly given him an individual programme to work on whilst the World Cup is ongoing, in order for him to get back to the levels that we all know he can produce.
He joined United in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund as one of the hottest young wingers in Europe, for a fee around £73m.

The 22-year-old has really struggled to hold down a regular place in the side and only has eight goals and four assists in 52 appearances so far.
Sancho will miss United’s trip to Spain this week as well as their friendlies against Cadiz and Real Betis as he continues his own programme.
By ten Hag's recommendations, he has been training in the Netherlands, with coaches that the United boss has endorsed.

Given Sancho has struggled not only with form, but also injuries, the programme is there to help him fully recover so when he joins back up with the squad after the World Cup, he can be in contention to start once again.
The club released this statement: “Jadon Sancho is continuing his individual training programme as part of a process to get back to his highest level,” United said on their website. “The club is fully supporting him in this.”
Considering his indifferent form, he has still started 10 of the 12 appearances he's had in the Premier League this season and is clearly someone who Ten Hag who likes to utilise.
His tactical flexibility, skillset and link-up play is an attacking profile that the United manager has taken to in the past and it's clear he believes in Sancho and wants to get the best out of him.

One fan on Twitter compared his situation to Marcus Rashford's: "If you doubted Marcus Rashford, wrote him off and lost all patience, don’t do the same to Jadon, look at Marcus now. Jadon Sancho is a quality player having a crisis of confidence, he needs our support."
Fans had noticed that Sancho had blacked out his Instagram account by deleting all of his photo's and tagged photo's amid his poor run of form.
9 million followers still remain, but it's important to consider it is a tough time for him and that abuse online won't help his situation.

It's only last summer he was starting games in the European Championships for England and he was part of the last England squad before the World Cup as well.
We're sure he'll be back to doing what he does best sometime soon in the future, and he's still only 22 years old - he could still go onto be a big player for United and England in the future.
