James Maddison continues to be as good in post-match interviews as he is with the ball at his feet, with fans loving how refreshing his chat on Sky Sports Monday Night Football was.
Maddison scored twice and assisted another in Leicester City's 4-0 win over East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest at the King Power Stadium.

It was the Foxes' first victory of the season after a dismal run of defeats and moved them ahead of Forest and off the bottom of the Premier League table.
Former Norwich midfielder Maddison has been in fine form despite Leicester's struggles and has 14 goal involvements in his last 11 games.

He was deservedly named Man of the Match and whisked in for a live conversation with Dave Jones, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
As per usual, Maddison was a breath of fresh air - providing insight into his incredible free-kick and the way in which he prepares for set-piece scenarios.
"I don't think I could place it better" 😅

He talked about Leicester's poor start to the season and was honest as ever about his own form and being overlooked by Gareth Southgate and England.

Neville asked Maddison about some suggestions that he wouldn't be a good traveller if he went to the World Cup but wasn't first-choice.
Leicester's No.10 handled it perfectly with his response, which further underlined why he is arguably the best interviewee in the Premier League.

Too often players don't give much away out of fear of saying the wrong things and provide plain, mundane interviews.
Maddison, however, is open and engaging - and Carragher is tipping him to be a good pundit when he eventually hangs up his boots.
"He's going to put us out of work" 😂

Plenty of love for James Maddison's interviews from @Carra23 ❤️ pic.twitter.com/mhHWc78ZSd
In fact, the Liverpool legend praised his approach to interviews - even extending an invite to get him on Monday Night Football at some point in the near future despite fearing he could put him out of a job.
Fans concurred with Carragher and not for the first time, enjoyed what Maddison had to say:
Exactly, sick of practically every footballer saying the same fucking thing every game. Maddison is just a proper truthful guy and says things how they are with personality.

He ran the show tonight. As each game goes by it becomes even more baffling that he’s not involved with England. #lcfc https://t.co/j5FV9Cla67
A good bit of analysis from James Maddison- interesting to hear him discuss the technical process. I’d still love to have him at Arsenal. https://t.co/ssKSmwJhFL
