Fans think Joao Cancelo fired a shot at Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland after Bayern Munich pipped Borussia Dortmund to the Bundesliga title in the dying embers of the final day.

Bayern won an eleventh consecutive title after Jamal Musiala came off the bench to score a dramatic winner against Koln.

Borussia Dortmund, who had led by two points going into a final day clash with Mainz, came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 but lost the league on goal difference in agonising fashion.

There were plenty of tears at Signal Iduna Park, including from manager Edin Terzic and talisman Jude Bellingham ahead of a potential summer move away.

But for Bayern it was euphoria as they kept up their completely dominance of German football. Cancelo posted about picking up yet another winners medal, with the on-loan full-back still eligible for a Premier League version after his contributions for City in the first half of the season.

Yet supporters noticed he used the caption "one more" - which was the same phrase former Dortmund star Haaland had used as he rallied BVB pre-match.

And though Cancelo could have simply been referring to adding another medal to his collection, it led to a fair bit of negative reaction on social media.

One wrote: "Cancelo is such a clown man everything he does is making things worse."

A second said: "Hope he stays as far away from Manchester City as possible. Awful personality to have around this squad."

A third stated: "I never want to see him near Etihad again."

A fourth tweeted: "He is so petty I cannot stand him actually."

A final user added: "Oi Joao you can stay there."

Cancelo was assisting Haaland earlier this season but City fans decided they don't want him back at the club after he was spotted celebrating the Norwegian's penalty miss against Bayern in the Champions League.

Unhappy with his game-time, Cancelo was loaned out to Bayern, who have the option to purchase him permanently but are now expected to do so.
