Jordan Pickford has been called ‘arrogant’ by fans for his interview after Everton’s draw against Leicester City.
On Monday night, Everton were up against fellow strugglers Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
In what was billed as a relegation six-pointer, Everton got off to the perfect start after Dominic Calvert Lewin netted a penalty after 15 minutes.

However, Dean Smith’s Foxes found themselves 2-1 up in the 33rd minute thanks to goals from Caglar Soyuncu and Jamie Vardy.
Pickford then denied James Maddison from 12 yards in the 45th minute before Alex Iwobi rescued a point for the visitors in the second half.
After the match, Pickford was branded arrogant for his post-match interview.

The Everton goalkeeper said: “Madders needs to learn his lesson - don’t play poker, by the sounds of it. No, I do my homework, I called it this morning, the way I was going to go, but he’s a good player and I think he’ll expect me to make movement.
“He’s got a great delivery, if he whips it or opens up I think he’ll expect me to dive to I double bluffed him and got one up on him. It was a big moment in the game and I’m quite happy I saved it because that’s what I’m there to do - try and help the team. Sometimes they make mistakes, sometimes it’s harsh - the penalty - but I’ll try my best to get them out of trouble.”

Prior to his interview, Pickford already annoyed fans after he celebrated his penalty save in front of the crowd.
After the draw, Leicester moved up to 16th place in the league table whilst Everton remain in 19th.
