Jose Mourinho will take charge of the Brazil national team and has already asked a former player to be his assistant.
That's according to ex-Porto forward and Brazil international Carlos Alberto, who says the current AS Roma manager has asked him to join the Selecao staff.
In a lengthy chat with the Mundo GV podcast, Alberto suggested 'The Special one' as an ideal replacement for Tite before dropping a big piece of news to listeners.

He said: "I was going to drop a bomb here, but I can't. I'll talk then. Maybe [Mourinho)is the coach of the Brazilian team. Speaking first hand. It's information."
Alberto, who played under Mourinho in 2004, when FC Porto famously lifted the Champions League, added: "It doesn't matter where the information comes from, I'm giving you the information... because he even invited me [to be his No.2]."
Mourinho has linked with numerous international jobs down the years, including the Portugal and Belgium posts.

But this recent claim from Carlos Alberto seems to be far more concrete.
In fact, at the end of last year, Italian outlet La Repubblica claimed that Brazil have already opened preliminary talks with Jorge Mendes over a move for 'The Special One'.
Back in 2017, Mourinho admitted it would be "exciting" to manage the Brazilian national team.

He told ESPN: "I think following Manchester United I need an easier job than Manchester United, and coaching the Brazilian team should be more difficult.
"Obviously it would be exciting, any coach wants to work with the best clubs and with the best. The Brazilian team is obviously a leader of success, obviously with talent, no matter what the generation, talent always appears.
"But I have to confess that it must be difficult, in every Brazilian there is a coach, in each journalist there is a better coach than the coach. I think it must be a difficult country to work for, but also a passionate one."
Mourinho was appointed as AS Roma head coach in May 2021 after being sacked by Spurs.

He would soon become the third manager in history to win all three existing major European trophies when Roma beat Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League final – a first piece of silverware for the Giallorossi in 11 years.
Carlos Alberto, meanwhile, made five appearances for Brazil between 2003 and 2005.
He played for Corinthians, Werder Bremen and Vasco da Gama before retiring in 2019 after failing to make an appearance for Portuguese outfit Boavista.
