Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has insisted that Jurgen Klopp will be desperate to inflict revenge over Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola this season.
The rivals go head to head this Saturday in the early kick-off and both still have a huge amount to play for in the Premier League and will be hungry for victory.
The Reds are in a tight race to qualify for next season's Champions League whereas City are chasing down league leaders Arsenal and still have a treble in their sights.

Klopp and his side have a chance to put a huge dent in those hopes by defeating City at the Etihad Stadium and former player Carragher has insisted the German coach will be desperate to do just that.
What did he say?
Writing in his column for The Telegraph, Carragher said: "United never lost a game after the international break in March, 1999 and there is every chance of City embarking on a similar run, which is what makes Saturday’s fixture so important.
"For all Liverpool’s difficulties this season, aside from when City and Arsenal play each other, they are the greatest challenge remaining in the league.
"It was City who ended Liverpool’s quadruple hopes a year ago. Jürgen Klopp will be desperate to put a dent in Guardiola’s treble push this time.

"This will not be how Klopp wanted or planned it, but the logic over the next two weeks is not dissimilar as in previous years for those wanting to celebrate in May.
"Whichever side beats Liverpool will feel like they are a step closer to winning the league. If City succeed and Arsenal do not, the treble talk will get louder."
Guardiola is without star striker Erling Haaland for the game after he failed to recover from an injury in time to be involved.
It's a boost for Klopp but he has injury problems himself so it will still be tough for Liverpool.
