Fans think Kylian Mbappe puts on a "fake voice" during interviews.

Mbappe has grown into one of the best and most marketable footballers in the world and took home the Golden Boot at the World Cup after hitting a hat-trick in the final against Argentina.

The Paris Saint-Germain and France star is fluent in French, English and Spanish and has given interviews in all three languages.

He's introduced himself in Italian at an awards show before and is not only said to be learning Portuguese, but also keen to pick up Arabic.

However, Mbappe's teammate Adrien Rabiot hit headlines this week when he said the forward has an "annoying and stressful" habit when participating in interviews before and after games.

Rabiot, who played with Mbappe for two years at club level and is his colleague for France, believes he uses a different voice.

He jokingly told Le Carre per Marca: "Kylian annoys me when he changes his voice in an interview.

"When we are together, he speaks normally. But when you watch the interview, I don't know why, his voice changes. It's annoying and stressful."

Fans have found one particular clip where Mbappe appears to put on a much deeper voice during a chat with EA Sports FIFA, who got him to guess his stats for the new game.

However, when speaking after a Champions League win against Bayern Munich, his voice was very different and had a much higher pitch.

One fan wrote: "It’s cause English is his like third language!!!!! he has a deeper voice when he speak french."

Another said: "Sounds like Charles leclerc."

A third commented: "I'm baffled."

A fourth said: "He sounds kinda different in french."

A fifth added: "HE SOUNDS LIKE A LIL BABYYYY WHY DID I EXPECT A DEEP AGGRESSIVE VOICE

A sixth weighed in: "No wayyy, i never heard him talk and I’m shooketh."

There's also a TikTok from a PSG press conference where Mbappe was speaking French but appeared to alter his voice halfway through.

Mbappe returned to PSG training early after the disappointing penalty shoot-out defeat to Argentina and did not feel sorry for himself.

He bagged the winner on his return to Ligue One action, converting a late penalty as 10-man PSG beat Strasbourg 2-1 at the Parc Des Princes.
